On a 60 minutes session Dennis and her husband will talk with the kids about the Maasai Culture, show them some artifacts and let them ask questions.
They will also show them the bead work that they do back home in order to empower women.
Kids will be allowed to ask questions.
What kids will see on the screen: A couple of Massais who speak english, they will be wearing traditional clothes. They are inside the house because it is night time.
Kids will only see a white background and the couple talking and showing some artifacts.
Cost: $150 USD (This money will be donated to them directly)
For a few years now they do have a program called BEADS FOR EDUCATION.
Dennis and her husband are Massais in Loita. For many years they offered fieldtrips for kids from The International School of Kenya located in Nariobi.
The masai tribe of Kenya is world famous for its beautiful bead work,which is created by the women's of the tribe and worn in rituals and ceremonies by both men's and women's, its often ven as a gift on special occasions.
Before a beads community women continued their daily work in the village,majority spend more time with old women in a special place called,ENKITAGATA,as a bead intern to learn the colourful work of making quality beads that a sold in all cities across the world, the Masai intellectual properties need to be guided under the umbrella of Masai jewellery that empowered women to continued in bead work since its their daily economic gain and a way to get school fees for their children.
